Helping Hand is a Non-Profit Public Charity, 501(c)(3), that has been established to help current and past CDOT workers and their families when in need of a helping hand. Helping Hand was developed in 2007 and began by providing $550 grants to those in need. Due to the program’s success, in 2017 the grant amount was raised to $600. 2024 was another great year for Helping Hand! This year, we were able to provide $23,100 in grant awards between Helping Hand Grants, Holiday Helping Hand Grant and a new grant this year for Back 2 School. Additionally, we awarded 4 $1,000 scholarships to graduating seniors, bringing our total support since our 2007 inception to $208,500!
We could not do all of this without the support of our fundraising programs supported by dedicated people around the state! Helping Hand thanks you all for your continued support and we look forward to another great year.
